We maintain a comprehensive system of rewards and privileges to encourage positive student conduct. Examples of rewards available to students who demonstrate diligence, excellent behaviour, and high attendance include:

• Verbal praise from members of staff
• The allocation of positive achievement points
• Faculty-specific rewards, including certificates and postcards
• Recognition during end-of-term rewards assemblies

Good behaviour is central to a good education, and our school must provide a calm, safe, and supportive environment where students can learn and thrive. Where behaviour disrupts the safe and calm running of our school, we have a clear and consistent behaviour system. Students are informed of the repercussions of poor conduct and are provided with opportunities to modify their behaviour through staff support and guidance. We firmly believe that a restorative approach to supporting students' behaviour is crucial to building positive relationships with all of our staff. We therefore run same-day detentions where possible to ensure that restorative conversations can take place prior to students going back into lessons.
