Breakfast Club is open daily for all students from 08:00 am.

Extra-curricular activities take place at the end of the school day until 4:00 pm.

Homework Club runs daily until 4:00 pm and all students are welcome to attend.

Students are currently expected to be in school for 32.5 hours per week.

School Closure Procedure

In the event of bad weather the school aims to open as normal. However, if the weather is so severe that the campus is unsafe or all but the most local staff are able to come to school we will close. We do not want young people to struggle to school in dangerous conditions and then be inadequately supervised when they arrive. If the decision is made to close the school we will notify parents by sending out a message via Weduc.

We aim to make a decision by 7:00am and communicate to all at that time.

If we are open but there is a covering of snow on minor roads we would ask for your support by not driving up to the campus unless absolutely necessary.

School Food

We have canteen facilities in the main school building as well as an outdoor cabin which serve hot and cold food, snacks and refreshments during break and lunch times.

We operate a cashless system. All students have a card that can be topped via the machines in school or online.

Uniform 2024 onwards

Iveshead School expects all students in all years to conform to the school dress code.

A detailed guide which shows the types of items of clothing that are acceptable and those that are unacceptable is available to view here.

Compulsory Items

Students in Years 7 to 11:

• Black ‘school’ blazer with the Iveshead School logo on the front chest pocket.
• Iveshead School clip-on tie
• School lanyard (inlcuding plastic wallet, timetable and ID card)
• Black socks or black tights (no knee-length socks or white socks)
• White ‘school’ shirt with a formal collar. The shirt may be short or long sleeved.
• A plain white t-shirt or vest may be worn under shirts.
• Black knitted ‘v-neck’ jumper without logos or brands (optional)
• Black school trousers that are formal, loose fitting and tailored. Trousers should not be skinny or tight fitting.

  OR

• Black, tailored, pleated school skirt (this DOES NOT include pencil, tube type jersey or stretchy type lycra skirts or skater style skirts) Skirts must be knee length 
• Plain black, school appropriate, shoes with a low heel (no other colours or logos)

Optional Items

• A plain white t-shirt or vest may be worn under shirts.
• Black knitted ‘v-neck’ jumper without logos or brands 
• Black school shorts that are formal and tailored (May-September)

Compulsory Items – PE Uniform

Students in Years 7 to 11 

• Purple ‘school’ PE top with the Iveshead School logo on the front
• Black ‘school’ PE hoodie with the Iveshead logo on the front
• Black ‘sports appropriate’ shorts, tracksuit bottoms or exercise leggings
• Black or white ‘sports appropriate’ socks
• Sports appropriate footwear including trainers (these must be different to shoes worn in other lessons)

Personal appearance

• Hair should be natural in colour with no extremes of style. 
• Make-up should be minimal and natural in appearance. 
• False nails(including acrylics) are not allowed and any polish must be natural in appearance.
• False eyelashes are not allowed
• Students may wear one pair of stud type earrings (one in each ear).
• A charity/fund-raising wristband may be worn to show support for a chosen  charity during their fund-raising week.
• Earrings must be removed for PE (retainer may be worn)
• No jewellery other than the above

Free collection from School via Weekly “School Drop Off Service”

• Simply select ‘free collection from store’ as your method of delivery and state you would like to collect your parcel from your school with Child’s name and Year Group, in your ‘order notes’.
• Orders placed for “School Drop Off Service” by 5pm Sunday will be delivered to the school for Collection on Thursday.
• Only available during term time and subject to availability.
